OKX App 6.0 new interface on mobile

On August 15, OKX rolled out App version 6.0. This update centers on interface restructuring and interaction smoothness, marking the largest mobile redesign for OKX (OUYI) in nearly a year. The most immediate change for long-term users is a more compact home layout with shorter paths to core features.

Mobile has long been the primary trading scenario for OKX users. As the user base grew, the old interface's shortcomings in information density and efficiency became apparent. Version 6.0 has a clear goal: make high-frequency operations faster and key information clearer without increasing learning cost.

Interface Restructuring: Core Operations Closer

The new home page presents spot, futures and earn as more compact cards, allowing users to reach high-frequency scenarios without entering secondary menus. The market list's default sorting logic was also optimized, supporting quick switching by watchlist, change and volume.

The order area on the trading page was simplified. Take-profit, stop-loss and leverage settings, previously scattered, are now consolidated at the first level of the order panel, allowing one-stop parameter configuration before entry. OKX's product team noted that the average steps to open a futures position dropped by about 20% in testing.

Performance Optimization: Perceivable Smoothness

Version 6.0 also optimized rendering performance. Scrolling frame rate and K-line zoom responsiveness improved, and page load times shortened under weak network conditions. For users who monitor markets on mobile, smoothness directly reduces the chance of missing moves.

OKX disclosed that a more efficient memory management strategy was introduced, easing lag after prolonged use. This is especially noticeable on mid-range Android devices, closing the experience gap caused by hardware differences.

User Feedback and Plans

One user who updated to 6.0 commented: "The order panel now includes take-profit and stop-loss, opening positions is faster, and the interface is cleaner."

According to OKX, during the 6.0 gray release, test users' daily order frequency increased while interface-related support inquiries dropped. These two figures corroborate the real efficiency gains. From 5.x to 6.0, OKX's iteration has consistently centered on "faster and clearer." Download OKX App 6.0.
